Max & Penny are very excited to have been chosen 4 times to represent Canada.

People wonder and question how we prepare for such a long (distance and time), diverse race and how to enjoy such a cruel adventure.

With our presentations we will lead participants through an educational, hands-on and highly humorous ride, that will re-focus, re-energize and re-invent how ones sees life and work.

The preparation for this race and the race itself involves the same principles and tactics any company/team would use to be successful.

  • I had a most enjoyable evening attending Max and Penny’s “Flying High” presentation in Invermere, BC. It was very entertaing and informative. They did an fine job narrating the XAlps Adventure – I liked their sense of humour and the visuals (photos and video) were excellent! They even bought their para glider so the audience could see the size and feel the material.

If they are in your neighbourhood it is a must see presentation.

  • Herb Weller:

Max and Penny volunteered to give a free presentation about their XAlps adventure race experiences to J.A. Laird school in Invermere. The presentation covered everything from training, mental attitude, proper nutrition, equipment and necessary cooperation to make the race happen. It was a valuable teaching moment for both students and staff.

Max and Penny put on a tremendous show for our local Rotary Club here in High River last night. I have never before seen so many of the older boys sitting on the edges of their seats staring at the presentation. Usually they are catching up on their beauty rests! An amazing story and it left all a bit bewildered as to what is possible physically, and mentally – we appreciate it very much!

  • Max and Penny’s presentation, ‘Flying High’ was fun informative and made me feel energized. A balanced look at fitness, nutrition and attitude and their amazing journey across the Alps. Fascinating and inspiring. I highly recommend their presentation.

  • great presentation by Penny and Max at the Cochrane Flying site on Wednesday night. It had everything, drama, blisters, humor (thanks Penny), spectacular flying and scenery. They thrilled the large crowd of paraglider and hang glider pilots and friends who turned out at short notice for the event. Can’t wait until the 2011 presentation when we see Max arriving on the pontoon in Monaco!

  • Shane Cook:

Second time I have seen the presentation and I am still impressed and awed. As part of a large corporate event (Cenovus Energy) Max and Penny entertained us all with the stories of their adventures while still hitting home on the core values of their success: preparation, self discipline and passion. Each of these a key to success in almost any ‘work’ environment. Absolutely worth the time.
